DJ14 "Formation" is a limited edition bronze sculpture of two bat rays. I have seen them while diving in Mexico and the Caribbean.
In this sculpture I try to capture the grace and power of two bat rays swimming in formation. Its name is "Formation"

The bronze sculptures are lost wax. Done in a foundry and the coloring is not paint. The coloring is patina. Nitrates, sulphates and acids. Applied with heat it causes a reaction
to the copper in the bronze. The we put a clear coat that will keep it from changing or aging.
