C2053 "Oscar" is a limited edition copper fill California sea lion. I spent the last 45 years on the coast of California.

 The California sea lion is like a friend to me. I have observed them on hundreds of occasions. "Oscar" modeled for me at a marine life park in California. He is smart and a practical joker. I was happy with the piece. I captured his personality in the face. This Oscar does not eat much and likes it when you pet him with a soft cloth.

Copper fill is a proprietary process that is approximately 1/32 of an inch of copper, filled with a composite material and painted with high quality enamel. A durable clear coat is
sprayed over the piece to keep it from Tarnishing or aging.
