DJ24 is a limited edition bronze sculpture. If you have ever been in the water and have a large shark swim by like I have. You would understand the name "Phantom Reef". I was diving and a 12 foot Thresher shark swam 6 feet over my head. He kept going and I got out of the water. I have to respect the power and majesty of this marine mammal. I tried to relate this in my sculpture.

The bronze sculptures are lost wax. Done in a foundry and the coloring is not paint. The coloring is patina. Applied with heat it causes a reaction to the copper in the bronze. The we put a clear coat that will keep it from changing or aging.
