DJ20  is a limited edition bronze sculpture. Shelly is a bold thrusting forward green sea turtle. A large 29 inch piece that took months to complete. Time well spent. I captured the life and motion in this work.

The bronze sculptures are lost wax. Done in a foundry and the coloring is not paint. The coloring is patina. Applied with heat it causes a reaction to the copper in the bronze. The we put a clear coat that will keep it from changing or aging.
