DJ21 is a bronze limited edition sculpture. Over the last 15 years I have work as an advocate for the preservation on endangered species, marine life in particular. The sea turtle is at the top of my list. This piece "Survivor" is intended to bring awareness to their plight.

The bronze sculptures are lost wax. Done in a foundry and the coloring is not paint. The coloring is patina. Applied with heat it causes a reaction to the copper in the bronze. The we put a clear coat that will keep it from changing or aging.
